It wouldn't be the fastest daily driver as it's intended for multithreaded application use

What makes you think that it is any different from a PC?

No graphics card just means no intensive gaming on it, that's about it.

A server is the same thing as a PC.

I recently found that a local seller has dual 3.5 ghz processors 32gb of ram and 512mbs of vram. Would it be possible to use this server as a desktop pc. Could someone link me to a guide or show me how to do it that would be great.

If you're really interested in buying it, check the technical details about it first. Depending the age of the server or it's make, you might get stuck with some exotic stuff like just one pcie slot, no onboard sound chipset and so on.

For the rest of it, server hardware is computer hardware so pretty straight forward.

Pentium 4s had 3.5ghz, should definitely look into what the specs are. Anything.... pre 2010 I wouldn't buy, waste of electricity and the memory / PCIe are going to be shit.

They usually have a Raid card connected to the backplane, so it is a few more steps to get windows installed. Since you didn't list any specs we have no idea which raid card (if any) it is using.

Pentium 4's were so nasty, even in dual CPU, I certainly wouldn't recommend buying eitherO.o
