how long shoud i let my pc mine in a day and still be safe ?

 

specs: gtx 1060 3gb

          i5 6400

           8gb ram

           450 psu

But actually yes

 

As long as it doesnt overheat, it's good. Just make sure to clean dust filters weekly. If you do that, you can run it as long as you want safely

So long as you have good cooling, doesn't matter much.

and hook up a power meter, so you can see how much you earn. If your parents pay for electricty or you dont care then its fine

generally mining is done 24/7 on a dedicated mining machine. if this is your main PCand will be using it in any other capacity, forget about mining. like the others have said if you dont pay for your own electricity, be prepared to explain the extra $100-$200 a month on their power bill

Puns aside thats a very safe operating temp. Even if it got up to 74ºC it'd proabbly be okay.

I use my main (only) PC for some Ethereum mining, I just let it run overnight, whenever I'm not gaming really, I throw a decent OC on my GPU and load up Claymore and let it run for ~12 hours overnight @21.5 Mh/s

Because it's not my power in that case, it gives me far more reason not to abuse it. It's quite a jerk thing to do unless you pay the difference.
