Pc RAM running 80/90% all the time

hello everyone.

I'm having this problem for a while now but always ignored it and rebooted my pc(to solve the problem for a few hours)

my RAM is at 90% for some reason after 1/2 hours of playing games or not doing anything and i try'd to close all tabs and programs but then i get to 80%.

i also did a virus scan with Avast and they did not find anything, i also did a virus scan with Malwarebytes and that only found one little thing, but i knew what it was and so no harm.

So i'm not sure anymore what it could be and i dont want to reinstall my windows once again(i had to do that like 7 times the last year)

thanks in advance:)

(sorry for any misspelling, my native language is Dutch)

You have the scroll bar partially down.  What's at the top.  That's what's taking up most of your ram.

Look on the right side of the picture.  Your scroll bar is down.  Filtering wont automatically set the scroll bar back at the top

Chrome has a setting where even when you close it it's always running in the background.  Go into advanced settings and disable it.  Then close out of chrome.

When was the last time you restarted your computer?

ram leakage, are playing many different games in one session? I noticed that if i played R6S then BF1 and then maybe CoD or Star wars Battlefront, my ram ends up being utilized 14gb out of 16gb or so. Just restart your pc here and there I do that as well

The "niet-wisselbare pool" is where your problem is. This is usually an indication of a driver gone bad. And most of the time I see people with this issue, it's their network driver. If you have a Killer NIC, then even more reason to suspect that's the problem (Killer NICs are infamous for leaking RAM).

Would recommend updating the NIC drivers. But make sure to only install the drivers. Don't install any other software that comes with it (unless for some dumb reason it's absolutely crucial for the NIC to work)

I am indeed using Killer for my NIC driver. is there a hotfix for it?

Play games designed by better developers....

No.  It means the game developers did a poor job handling memory they were done using.

Make sure there aren't any other updates for the games, or driver updates you can install.

I don't use Killer NICs, so I wouldn't know. But updating the drivers seems to work for most people.

I'll try that
