I just recently started cryptocurrency mining and have also been using Archie's Steam Farm. I have my PC running basically all day, with auto-sleep turned off. That being said, when I leave my computer running and come back from work, it'll more often than not seemingly pause whatever I have going on at some point for a while. I obviously leave my screen off when I'm not at it, but when I go to turn the monitor back on, it'll enter back into sleep mode if I just turn the monitor back on. I have to shake the mouse around for a bit to get the monitor and PC to communicate again, despite the PC being on for the entirety of it. So, I was wondering, is there a program somewhere that would automatically move the mouse around for me while I'm gone to hopefully prevent this from happening, or is there perhaps some easier solution that I'm missing? Thanks!

There's actually a forum here for an even better experience. :)

 

Did you check your power settings in the control panel? Are you running windows?

I didn't realize there was advanced options beyond the basic power settings. I found something called Hybrid Sleep which was turned on. I turned that off and hopefully that'll prove to be the difference maker! Yes, I am on Windows 10.

I understand I mentioned mining as one of the activities that was interrupted, but this is an OS issue rather than an issue with the mining program or whatever.
