Want to see IF this guy is trying to sell me a 660ti instead of a 960.

Yep look at the cooler on the box and the cooler on the card he is a scammer

True. I don't have those cards so I Googled both but as Billy_Mays says look at the box. And what Google results told me is also true. That's not 960 it's 660Ti.

Yep and I would warn some person (authorities that this guy is a scammer) so then he could get a warning and told not to do that any more

960 uses the strix cooler. The card shown uses one of the DirectCUII cooler line-up so something is clearly wrong.

i hate buying used. reason ^ these kind of scenarios... prefer to buy new, guaranteed warranty coverage and security of a genuine purchase especially with electronics you don't really wanna gimp on such benefits... unless its super old& have uses for it [ie discontinued after many many years]

people think we are stupid which is somewhat funny/sad at the same time, but pretty sure we do extensive research before plunging into deep things...

Pretty simple way to find out - get him to send you a picture of the label on the back of the GPU (Which should show Model, SN, etc).
