Hi :P I looking for a very quiet PSU and need advices, my gaming rig would be: i7-4770k, gtx 770 (I won't SLI), 16gb ram, samsung 840 evo 250gb+seagate 1tb, fractal r4 case.

Here my list (all modulars):

-Be quiet Pure Power L8 630W CM (~85€ + 2 year guarantee)

-Corsair TX650M (~85€ + 5 year guarantee)

-Seasonic M12II-650 (~95€ + 2 year guarantee)

-Cooler Master V650S (~100€ + 2 year guarantee)

-Corsair RM650 (~100€ + 5 year guarantee)

My top priority is the silence, then which of these is more quiet and with better budget?

Thanks you! ;)

Be quiet or M12II

That beq quiet! is outdated.

My Pc: Cpu: I7 4790k @ 4,8 Ghz @1,25 volts, Motherboard: Maximus VII Formula, Graphicscard: 2x Titan X @1,4 at stock voltage (soon to be replaced), Ram: 32 gb Corsair Dominator Platinum 2133 Cl 9, SSD: 2x 850 Pro 1 Tb in Raid 0, 2x Samsung 840 Evo 1 tb raid 1,, PSU: Corsair HXi Series 1000W 80+ Platinum, Case: H440. Soon to be watercooled again, maybe, probably, the Titans are too loud.

Also most BeQuiet use multi-rail

I'm in Germany so my first PSU was a bequiet one and exactly that one that the op ask's if he could use that. (That was pretty loud)

Where are you getting that 2 years warranty with the Seasonic unit? I thought it should be 5 years? I would have prefer the Seasonic but it is only bronze rated so the RM650 gets my vote. If you get even higher wattage unit, the fan won't even spins at all.

The RM650 is the quietest of the units you have listed. It is also functionally superior as well as it is fully modular. The Cooler Master V650S is also a very quiet PSU, perform electrically better than the RM, and uses better secondary caps.

The Be Quiet isn't a bad choice either, if you are looking to go for something cheaper. The unit being a multi-rail unit is a non-issue.

You could power your system on a quality 550w unit, btw.

And the psu doesn't heat too if the fan doesn't spin almost never? the temps are equals to other psu with the fan always spins?

I will put it in a fractal r4 case (front and back case fans of stock + maybe I will buy another front fan fractal r2 140mm or thermalright x-silent 140) and with the top/side grids covered with the foam that bring the case.

RM650 for sure. Fully Modular and 80+ Gold. I have the RM850 and it works like a charm.

I have not noticed any particular heat coming from it, and it wont effect your other components :)

RM hands down. I've owned the 650/750/850 and they were all totally silent.

A last question more about the fractal r4, can the bottom cage turn 90º like the top cage for a better airflow? I had decided remove the top cage and put the hdd and ssd in the bottom cage, and add a front fan more for that the PSU get the airflow of this fan besides to the hard drives.
