RAM compatibility for ASUS crosshair Vi

So, I've had trouble posting the pc after some upgrades. The motherboard indicates the cpu is ready to boot. Problem is, the dram led lights up amber and the rams sticks (corsair vengeance led 16 GB 3200 mhz) won't light up either. What is the meaning of the amber light? Compatibility issues with the default bios? Which are the compatible ram sticks for this system?

Trust me, you should go to ROG forum for this. I asked this similar question few times here and no one came up with majorly helpful answer

Did you use the ReTry button on the board (It should have one)? That should help you boot both DRAM sticks that may not be compatible just  yet.

 

If not, use the CLR CMOS button on the back of your board to reset the CMOS (and the BIOS inevitability) and try to boot then.

 

You should also update your BIOS to the latest version that you can get under the Support page for the product.
