I want to see which would be more power per $, and which one I should get.

Well what's your budget? And what would you like to do with your pc?

Maximum $100, looking for something under $100 though if I can, and my PC is used for gaming and editing.

Amd don't have a cpu under 100$ and even the ryzen 3 probably will still be over 100$ so yeah the only thing I can recommend then is the pentium g4560. It will do gaming just fine but it won't be that great for editing. I would recommend saving up some money and at least getting a ryzen 5 1600. It will do both editing and gaming easily.

Ryzen 3 does not exist yet.

Ryzen 5 usually performs like a locked i7 in gaming and performs close to intels 4-6 Core HEDT processors in anything else with a couple exceptions.

Ryzen 7 usually performs like a locked i7 in gaming and performs close to intels 8 Core HEDT processors in anything else with a couple exceptions.

we expect the R3 to preform like a locked i5 in games and other tasks.
