240mm AIO vs. 240mm Custom Loop

I am deciding whether I should get the corsair h100i or the new ekwb 240mm water kit (the aluminum one) in order to cool my cpu. I am just wonder if the extra cost for the water cooling kit is worth it or if I should save money by getting the AIO.

How much is the difference? I don't like my h100i gtx a lot...

Don't get the aluminum stuff.

If you want a custom loop, build it from scratch.

If not, stick to AIOs.

AIO. If you get the Aluminium water-cooling kit, you're stuck with it. EKWB's other water-cooling parts aren't compatible with aluminium.

Not yet but soon.  They have a whole lineup of stuff coming put soon.  Besides, an aio is an aio and you're stuck with it.  

 

The a240g performed on par with 280mm aio + 120mm aio (gpu) when cooling both components

 

Check bitwise video.  1080 and some i7 I think.

Dpeens on how much time you are willing to spend on it, costume loops are more diy and need to be maintained.
