8+ port Wireless Router help/feedback

AbsintheGold

Hey Guys and Girls

look for a new Router

Would like it to have wireless (wireless N is fine)

And would like it to have 8+ ports (preferably gigabit connection)

will be using it for home to connect 5 computers, 2 TV's, nas and up to 10 wireless devices (phones, laptops, tablets, etc)

what does the Linus tech-tips crew suggest?

Linksys ea4500, Asus rt-n66u or similar + a 8-16 port gigabit switch for your stuff.

There aren't many consumer routers with 8 ports, WD mynet n900 is the only one i can think up.

Something wrong with your connection ?

Run the damn cable :)

I'm in the same boat I've got a 4 port switch but its plugged in old wireless g router - would like to get something new to replace both.

the only one I've found is the WD my net n900 - having trouble finding it in Australia though

Its all about those volumetric clouds

A high end router with an 8 port gigabit switch will do you fine.
