ALL lower-end cards are overpriced right now. Best thing is to wait a few months until the cryptocurrency crashes. Then there should be an influx of cheap AMD mining cards. If you don't want those cards, you'll still be able to get new cards for a decent price (plus, maybe vega will be released)

1050ti. 1060, and AMD equivalents are overpriced now.

A 1060 should be fine, though you could go for a 1050 Ti to save $$$, or maybe a 1070 for awesomeness. Though if you can still game on the 660, I'd advise waiting for the mining craze to die down, Vega to drop, and all that.

It won't bottleneck. Be sure to check the pricing before you buy anything, over here the 1060 is incredibly overpriced at the moment while the 1050Ti is as expensive as it should be.

That is likely $276 here

"Make it future proof for some years at least, don't buy "only slightly better" stuff that gets outdated 1 year, that's throwing money away" @pipoawas

 

-Frequencies DON'T represent everything and in many cases that is true (referring to Individual CPU Clocks).

That'll be an nice card. MSI's Gaming X lineup with the Twin Frozr coolers look pretty slick, and have top of the line performance AFAIK. I've got an MSI Gaming 980 Ti, and it's a beaut.
