RX 580 Ethereum

I got Sapphire RX 580 4GB Pulse and I am trying to earn a bit from this card and started mining just few days ago.

 

Does this look okay? From stock it was already 24 Mh/s. I underclocked and undervolted it. The powerdraw now is < 95W.

If there's something I can do to further improve i'd love to learn.

Sell that card as fast as possible. You will make more money doing that. RX 580s are going for $500 plus on eBay right now. Sell it and get yourself a 1080.

I mean, if you really want to mine, i'd suggest going to Linux if at all possible.

 

 

However, I agree with the rest of the people in this thread to sell your GPU while the price is still high.

It'll be hard for me to sell this unless it will be bought locally..

 

And from the calculator it seems i'll be getting $2.5 per day or $75 per month?

Why can;t you sell on eBay? You will double you money on the card, and you will only make $75 a months assuming that the price doesn't drop.

Price could go up as well. But I'd say sell it if possible, unless you want to be in it for the long run, then mine

Ethereum is tanking hard at the moment. It's dropped $100 in 2 weeks, you're going to make so much more money by selling it.

Possibly... If you sell it for 500 you will only get about 430 after ebay and paypal fees...

I'll try to research a bit on ebay. I'm kinda scared with the stories I've read in eBay. It seems it's easy for some to reverse their payments claiming the item is not working as promised.

The ethereum craze has gone on for a while now, I doubt you are able to sell a 580 that has already ben mined wiht for 500 dollars. Especially wiht the likes of Asus and co bringing "mining" gpus to the market soon(tm). I would mine a few ethereum and hold them, or convert to BTC and hold those. BTC is on a steady upwards trend, so in maybe one or two year time, you could see a great profit.

then sell and BUY bitcoin and hold on to it for the pay off, with the current drop it would be smarter (and easier) to simply BUY the coin then to mine it and your profit would be higher.
