Will I void the warranty by overclocking Ryzen 1700.?

No. They're designed to be overclocked.

 

EDIT: Appears I was wrong. It does void your warranty, but they have no way of proving whether you overclocked your CPU or not, so it doesn't really matter. Besides, do CPUs even fail that often?

AMD will not cover any damage done by overclocking. AMD will also not cover your processor if you used a third party heat sink.

 

Though either is kind of hard to prove.

So are Intel K-series. No company would want to do an RMA that spends their time and money over a user error. 

 

Then again, your motherboard is what stores your overclocking parameters meaning that they wouldn't be able to find out unless you told them.

It basically looks like they won't let you RMA if you OC, but they can't prove it, so its really some legalese to cover their butts in case of user error.

They're made for OC, but AMD will void your warranty if the chip is damaged due to OC. Intel does this as well.

Yes. It's standard industry practice for the most part. EVGA is the only exception I'm aware of (unless XFX didn't change) that is fine with you using a third party heat sink. But if they can figure out doing so broke the video card, then they won't honor the warranty.

 

Although I'm willing to bet if you let the magic smoke out, AMD and Intel will void your warranty. The only way to let the magic smoke out is to botch up the install in the socket or improperly install the heat sink.

Then some people dress in bunny suits will come and drag you out of your bed at night and take you to a undisclosed location where they will implant some controller into your body, where they can monitor your every move and to make sure you're banned from using any more AMD products.

delidded caps replaced and I stick the ihs back on my self and still got rma so
