Help for 1080ti build parts

Hi guys, this is a build I'm planning:

https://it.pcpartpicker.com/list/yZ4xqk

but I'm a newbie and that I'm not sure it is the best choice... Maybe spending some more bukcs could be worth? I don't know..

Thanks to everyone in advance.

EDIT: My monitor is an Acer X34a (3440x1440px / 100hz)

Good build, R5 could be worth looking at though if you want to save some money (Especially if playing at 4K, hardly any performance difference between i7 there).

Please quote our replys so we get a notification and can reply easily. Never cheap out on a PSU, or I will come to watch the fireworks.

thermal paste is missing, do you already have thermal paste or does it come with the cooler?

I believe the cooler comes wither thermal paste (Even if its not the best on the market, it should still do the job).

I don't have one. It doesn't seem written anywhere on product page... https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B016XLGATE/ref=ox_sc_act_image_1?smid=A11IL2PNWYJU7H&psc=1

There isn't anything in his spec that is Overkill.

I would go to a 700 to 750 watt PSU. That way you are around the 50% load area max. That usually helps with efficiency and longevity. Are you planning on overclocking? Are you using a 2k or 4k monitor or really high refresh rates with 1080p?

Yeah, in a future I may overclock. That's why I'm buying K series Intel and Z series motherboard.

I have an Acer X34a, my dream is to play all Ultra at 100fps.

Not really, 650W would be fine. At best, OP would only really gain a few % of efficiently within that load. Its only really necessary if OP is really worried about fan noise.

You want butter 100 FPS at 3440x1440?  Any preference between Intel and AMD?

You don't need the R7 1700 just for gaming. The R5 1600 is more than enough.

Thanks both guys, but which is the reason to swap to an AMD build?

I'm a noob in this field, and as I far as I know Intel is slightly better for gaming(?)

Because it's not like every cooler comes with thermal paste.  Oh wait, yes it does.

intel cpu is better for gaming because higher clock speeds and less cores which are efficient and AMD because it has way more core and threads so you can stream and render videos also you can make them busy and utilise all the cores

I said R5, not i5 (Nor would that matter at 4K as I said).

Unless you have fast RAM.  Then Ryzen wins almost everywhere, especially in the games that have rolled out Ryzen patches.
