Ryzen build

What's a good ryzen build for 1080p gaming and VR that can 1080p and VR for the next few years.

 

Requirements

Using the s340 elite

 

Stuff I have 

SSD, hdd, fans, and gpu(I have two whole other rigs this will replace) 

 

I will get a Vega gpu when Vega is out. My gpi I have now is perfect for what I need

 

How much will I need to spend? This is more a goal to save up to but im not trying to go super expensive as you see I only want 1080p gaming and I will overclock.

 

Will I need a new cooler or just a new mounting bracket for am4 for the 212 Evo? 

 

Looks are big too. I like sleek black/white builds that way I can use any led color and it will look good still. All full size stuff I don't want a tiny Mobo and the more RGB the better

Read and you will see im asking for a build that I will save up to purchase. As of now all my money is going to bills so this will be a months away thing after I have time to start saving up.

wrong way to build a PC.

you set a budget, like $1000, and save up to that, but you don't get a specific parts list until you're ready to buy. things change on a weekly basis in the tech community, and if you buy a list that was made today in 6 months, things will have drastically changed.

i would be careful about that ram. Ryzen is not very forgiving with G.Skill ram. I recommend Corsair ram

- If you can get your hand on an AM4 mounting bracket for the EVO that should be fine.

I already have computers and have built many, I just don't know anything about the new CPUs, I stopped looking into  at 5th gen Intel. Im the older hardwear days. so im not sure what I would need for 1080p out of ryzen.

 

Don't think I don't know how the market works. I just need to know what ryzen build would be good for 1080p and VR that way I don't say I want a $2000 build and have it be Overkill. And since parts usally drop in price or when they raise it's back to what it was before. So if anything I'd be spending the same or less when it comes time to buy it.

I'm telling you the best way to do what you're trying to do

 

the Rzyen 5 1400 is definitely VR ready, and can 1080p game like a champ. however, the Ryzen 5 1600 is a 6-core, so it's as futureproof as a consumer CPU can get.

the Ryzen 7 1700 is an 8-core CPU, so it's not really any better for gaming - only better for rendering, streaming, and content creation.
