They also seem quite flexible in what you can do with them, so I'd focus on the case with best airflow (or should I say less terrible airflow). And it seems to me the ranking would be

  1. Phanteks Enthoo Luxe TG
  2. be quiet! Dark Base Pro 900
  3. Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX TG

Also, Enthoo has 5.25 bays which, is a plus to me, but may not be so to you.

I have to agree for Evolv ATX TG for style points, but my heart tends to favor the dark base if you need and want the space

It's a sweet looking case.

How's the sound isolation? I really like how quiet the dark base pro seems to be in reviews.

I'm using an air cooler so airflow is important for me, but I wonder how they compare in sound isolation, I love "silent" builds.

I haven't got everything up and running yet, so IDK. But I'm guessing it'll be pretty good, since it's pretty thick glass and includes 3 nice fans that should move plenty of air.

Rats.

I wish some of the reviewers did a sound test with the case, I haven't been able to find any.

The one video I've seen which did a before and after by ripping out the sound padding showed about a 1 dB difference, but the tone of the noise changed a bit. However that's with the fans at 100%, which in a proper build they wouldn't be and thus it becomes less of an issue.

Tom's Hardware did a comparison in their Dark Base review:

I doubt 1-2db difference is even audible, in addition the Evolv has far better temps and airflow than the Dark Base - I'm going with the Phanteks!

Thanks for the help everyone!
