Soo which of the 1070's has the best base performance and whic has the best overclocked performance (i'm not considering to ever use a VR) i play in a 1080p monitor and i'm going maybe in the near future to upgrade to a 2K one (thats why i choose 1070 instead of 1060).

I will principaly play medium tier games and even AAA one's if that's importante to know when choosing one of this models.

i heard that there isn't really much difference betwen the different brands but i want to be sure of it and find the best option.

They're all the same, get what has good warranty, has low noise and good cooling, and looks good in your PC.

Asus Strix for low temps and noise and RGB

Yeah, it's generall a toss-up between the Asus STRIX, MSI Gaming X, or EVGA FTW. I think they're pretty much the top 3 for whatever Nvidia GPU you're looking for. Just get whichever you think looks best.

What about EVGA FTW? With Asus EVGa is most likely similar in cooling

My head on 2019 :

Note 10, S10, Samsung becomes Apple, Zen 2, 3700X, Renegade X lol

How is an Upgrade from 1080p to 2k an upgrade? Both are the exact same Thing: Full HD^^

Base performance + OC Performance is exactly the ONE thing, that's completely utterly uninteresting when you compare Custom models.

They ALL are GTX 1070. They ALL use the exact same Chip. They ALL have the exact same Performance. If one might reach 2101 Mhz, and another only 2076 Mhz... that's pure Chip Lottery. That has NOTHING to do with the Name that's written on the package.

You want to know which is the quietest with the best temperatures, and which one has a better PCB, higher Power target, etc etc.

The best models are Palit Gamerock / Palit Jetstream / Gainward Phoenix. There is no GTX 1070 in existence, that is more quiet out of the box, at least none that i know of with a comparison. They have a huge oversized Cooler. And you notice that. Mostly below 70°C, and Fans only at silent <1000-1200 rpm~ at best. Even Overclocking doesn't ramp them up.

But not a very high Powertarget (probably with the High OC Version models, they have a different Bios with a higher Powerlimit. However, this is mostly not interesting, except you NEED those 1-2 steps higher clock speed. Not that you will ever be able to feel that)

Also very good for Ocerclocking (aka, potencial overclocking, because high Powertarget + good cooled VRMs / VRams + good Noise / Temperature Ratio) is the MSI Gaming.

EVGA FTW > EVGA SC too (FTW has a higher power target, bigger PCB, more VRMs).

Stay away from the "dt" models like "EVGA FTW DT". DT = Chip too bad for the clocks of the normal FTW.

Do not take the Asus Strix. Their Cooler is highly inefficient. They use Direct Touch heatpipes instead of an even plate, with ion total 5 Heatpipes. But only 3 of them actually touch the GPU. 2 other Heatpipes don't touch the Chip at all, so their function is almost useless --> not efficient.

Noise is much higher than on MSI Gaming, and MUCH higher than on the Palit/Gainward models.
