If you are going to be using a program like Logic than yes, they are worth it. 

 

They make good day to day machines too. 10 hour battery life, some of the fastest SSDs in existence, best in class speakers, and amazing build quality. 

 

Screen and Trackpad don't even require comparison to anything else.
