New gaming build for a friend - Need quick answer

Hi everyone,

I'm going to build a new pc for my friend. He got small space for pc, so he need mATX case. He also don't want a SSD. I'm living in Slovakia (Middle Europe) and I'm buying all components through Alza (alzashop.com)

 

I've choose this components:

Motherboard: Asus prime b350-a - 75€

GPU: EVGA GEFORCE GTX 1060 3gb sc gaming acx 2.0 - 230€

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1500x- 195€

RAM: Kingston 8Gb DDR4 2400MHz CL15 HyperX Fury Black Series - 67€

HDD: WD BLUE 1T - 55€

PSU:  be Quiet! Pure Power 10 400W - 55€

Case: Zalman T5 - 28€

 

Overall - 700€

 

What do you think about this build?

Is it good and compatible?

How would you change it?

pc part picker for compatibility but ye thats a good build just check card length and the cases supported length

The card is really small - smaller than MoBo and the case supports regular lenght cards, so that won't be a problem

I know, but my friend wasn't happy even with Ryzen and it took me a while to convice him. But he won't change his mind with Nvidia, because he had a really bad experience with Amd graphic card

Are they even available anywhere? I realize he's in Slovakia, but supply of RX480 and 580s has become increasingly scarce lately (thanks to cryptocurrency miners).

Yes you're right. I'm waiting for them, but we still don't have rx580 here

It's worth waiting, the 3GB 1060 is terrible value (and even the 6GB isn't worth it in the eyes of the cheaper 8GB 480 and 580)

Oh, the rx480 wasn't ever available in my country. And there isn't very much time, because he need to order the pc tomorow. And considering that it's 10 pm in my country by now, I don't think they will magicly appear in the store in the morning. He also won't change his mind

u need a 6gb 1 most games use 4gb+vram now
