Can i fix this GTX 970?

Go to solution Solved by 3 Lions,

If it's faulty don't waste your money on it, look for a 970 that is in good condition and works.

Hey there,

So Browsing thorugh ebay looking for a new gpu as I am on tight budget so buying used rn is my only option and I need an upgrade over my hd 7850.

I came across this broken gtx 970 for £80 (might be able to barter £10 off price) and it looks fixable and I thought I would come here to see you guys thoughts on this

and if its worth the gamble.

Issues:

bad BAD, artifacting when running 3dmark.

I'm guessing it could be cooling or maybe a bad oc idk.

Ty for help

Napalm :)

that is a bigger retailer since the posted points are very general, so he probably sells a mixture of working or broken cards. I wouldnt buy since you dont know what the problem might be if the card doesnt work
