Hello, I will be using a Ryzen5 1600 in my build this summer. The thing is I can't decide if I should get a higher speed ram or a ryzen compatible ram.

Faster Ram:

Ryzen Compatible Ram:

If you also take the poll, that would be really appreciated, also tell me your thoughts on it. Thanks

You linked a Flare X 3200 vs a 3000 RAM on the first link

Is there something wrong?

Corsair have a list on their forums of which ram is known to work with Ryzen, be worth checking if that ram model is on there. Cant seem to find it right now.

Found it - http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=166631

Depends on the motherboard on whether or not it will work.

Agree, this should sort out some problems that people are having with some memory modules. IMO it would be better to get the 3000/3200 Mhz ram modules rather than the 2400, because even if the problems aren't sorted out with the upcoming AGESA update, they should be at some point I would think. But also more importantly IMO, most of the 3000/3200 modules would still run at 2667/2933 anyway, and for very little extra money compared to buying 2400Mhz anyway... I mean the DR modules that most people are having problems running XMP profile at rated speeds.

I have the Ryzen compatibility RAM you linked in a 32GB kit )(2x16GB).  It works no problems with my motherboard.  Although Ryzen does perform better with faster RAM.  I would just check your motherboard memory support list and see what kits work as of today and get the fastest kit you can afford.  I also know that BIOS updates helped fix alot of memory incompatibilities as well.
