That list leaves out the price of the RX 560.

Also, the reviews of that power supply on Newegg are not pretty. Most people are complaining it has a very loud fan.

It doesn't leave the price out for me but dont trust the minority its fine and its good even ask @Energycore

Im mostly on discord now and you can find me on my profile

It's $20 more on amazon, for that price I could get an EVGA 600W 80+ White

I don't NEED a power supply better than that! I simply don't have the money to spend on things like extra tiers. I have read the reviews, and it's good enough for me. It should be for you too. I hardly see why you're an experienced user with over 1000 posts if you think an 80+ white EVGA power supply is "bad" or "not good enough". I have other things to spend money on first. A tier 5 power supply is not on my list of things to buy right now.

Well since I'm here anyway lol

A power supply that is bad is one that either: a) is badly built so it's prone to failure or b) delivers unclean power to your computer, putting your components at risk. I can't tell you how many people have come to the forums with "hey guys, my motherboard has died for the third time what's going on?" posts and when asked about their PSU, it's a bad one and has been killing their motherboard.

As for the model in your build, like most bad PSUs it's a combination of a) and b).

Good PSUs aren't exorbitantly expensive: this one is great and costs $40 + shipping https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151074

(you can eschew the shipping price if you buy more things at newegg ;))

I think if you know me enough to know that I can explain why, you should also be able to explain it yourself. It's pretty simple why a bad PSU is bad, it's just what I wrote up there. (and a couple other things that matter way less)

This forum is exactly the correct grounds to get those skills up. (insert muscle arm emote here)

I don't respect people who think people on a budget are stupid. This power supply is plenty good enough. You may be a hardware enthusiast, however that doesn't give you the right to bash on people for having a budget. I don't have $4000 dollars to spend on a fully modular 6000 watt power supply with a palladium rating and 20 RGB fans. This power supply is darn well good ENOUGH.

Hey man, if you're not going to consider spending $5 more on a PSU that will last a lot longer and give you less problems while it lasts, then there's nothing I can do here. Enjoy your computer.

It will last less long and have a higher chance of giving problems throughout its lifetime because of a number of reasons related to how it's built.

Yup. That's a good way to put it. I get your argument if I recommended you a $70 PSU but you should grab the 430W S12II if it still costs $40 at newegg.

Looks like it still is $40

You know, there used to be a time, not long ago maybe 1 year ago, where a PSU as good as that one cost no less than $60. PSU manufacturers really have come through with cheap, great units, like the new EVGA B3 and the Corsair CXM line. That has forced the price of the formerly $60 PSUs down to the $40s and $50s that we see them at now.

https://pcpartpicker.com/product/XxvZxr/evga-b3-450w-80-bronze-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-220-b3-0450-v1

https://pcpartpicker.com/product/FQ648d/corsair-power-supply-cp9020101na

And with gaming desktops taking less power as time has passed, we are seeing PSUs that focus more on reliable power than on tons of it. Hence great options for cheap.
