R5 1500X Build (suggestions please)

But I will most likely need the extra wattage later on... I'm building a Ryzen 5 1400 system with a 1050 Ti and will most likely upgrade to an R7 1700 and 1070. Plus don't the capacitors in the power supply degrade over time?

R7 1700 and 1070 is still less than 450W, so much has power consumption on components gone down that you could even OC both components on 450W (I have tested my 80W Xeon + 200W on a heavily ovelvolted RX 480 and my CX450M hasn't broken a sweat, and the same is true for other similar computers).

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

Should I get a CX450M then? A lot of people on Newegg have complained about the loud fan bearing.

The fan is impossible to hear at idle but does get pretty loud at load. The EVGA B3 I think is a bit less noisy although it's still a sleeve bearing fan.

The Seasonic S12II that I linked has a better fan IIRC

Oh and if you don't mind breaking warranty you can mod a new fan into your PSU. It's not terribly hard but it does require some research as to which components of the PSU you shouldn't tough because they're mortally dangerous (pretty much only the big bulk capacitor) and maybe a soldering iron because some PSUs don't have standard fan connectors.

I'm not gonna risk dying for a quieter power supply xD

but seriously I think the evga 500w 80+ white will be fine for me... I really do need the extra wattage over the efficiency and longevity...
