Cases AAHHH please help!

So Ive been trying to narrow down cases for my bday present and I came down to the Corsair Obsidian as I love how well they did on the interior of the case and the NZXT S340 Elite because its still pretty well done but sexy as hell. I was going to go with NZXT because I was willing to bite the proverbial bullet on the interior not being as good as Corsair for the sexy look but when watching more videos on the Nzxt it was mentioned that this case is not very good with heat and not good for more than 1 gpu (shoot I run 2 NVIDIA 770 cards). So ive been digging around trying to find something that looks awesome like the NZXT and has a good interior. Yes I could just go with the Corsair but after looking at some gorgeous cases I really want one with the Tempered Glass panel and good interior design and the Obsidian doesnt look as sexy. Ive looked at the be quiet 900 pro but its interior seemed to have a couple issue id prefer avoid, I dont like the Corsair crystal series, too much tg, The Enthoo evolv had a few mentions of fitting issues depending on the hardware and only had 2 usb ports on the front instead of 4, in win 303 was a bit bare for my taste and doesnt come with any fans. Please help. Greatly appreciate the help in advance.

Corsair 400c. It's a lot like the NZXT S340, but awesomer. See @mrzoltowski's awesome Miami Nights 1984 build for how absolutely awesome it can look when done right.

Corsair Obsidian is an entire series... which one?

 

Phanteks P400S TG, Enthoo Pro M TG, H440

Honestly haven't heard of any real issues with an S340's cooling

Still waiting for a TG 400C and a price drop on the original. It really was the predecessor to most TG cases, look at the size of that window!

As someone who's built in both and had the option to buy both at Fry's...

NZXT's quality is much higher, the fans are better quality, the plastics are higher-quality, the aesthetics are subjective but the S340 looks better to me, etc. Only thing the 400C has over the S340 is dust-proofing. The PSU shroud is also lame on the 400C.

I hadn't heard about heating really either no one really mention much about it until gamers nexus review of it

would the results be different running 2 770 cards though instead of a single 980? 2 cards would seem to output more heat.

1 770 is probably hotter than 1 980 (too lazy to look it up)

You said earlier about the NZXT S340 overheating? I own one and never had this issue however i don't SLI. My only issue is the back panel is a pain in the A** to get off.

man Thats 2 bad the sli is the only thing keeping me from getting so far. The only other issue I read about, not a ton mind you was a little quality control when it was received. Did you notice anything when you got yours. Power button going out shortly after using for a week or 2 and broken parts?

No none at all, my only other issues where the terrible zip ties that came with the case not that it is a issue, I have heard that the cable management straps can be a little flimsy but i never had any issues.

You should really check out the Phanteks P400 Tempered Glass. It has nice clean looks, dust filters everywhere, and it's in the same price bracket as the s340. Here are pics of my P400S acrylic window and my wife's P400 TG. We both have RX 480 gpu's for size reference.

is that full side panel window or just partial or do you choose when you order i cant tell from the pictures sorry, nvm ic the 400 is the full tg and the 400s is the acrylic my bad. If Im wrong please let me know how to make sure to get the full tg panel

P400 has 5 variants, not including colors:

P400 acrylic

P400S acrylic

P400S silent (no window)

P400 TG

You could always look at the Fractal Design Define S (acrylic window sadly but everything else is top notch)
