Is the gtx 970 still worth it?

Found some guy on Craigslist selling a Zotac GEFORCE GTX970 for $99. Is this a price that makes it worth buying and will it do fine with my build? i3 6300, currently gtx 550 to, 520watt fully modular from seasonic, 8gb ddr4 2133, 250gb SSD.

A 970 for 100 bucks? Unless that card is completely broken, that's a hell of a deal.

970 is still a good card for high refresh rate 1080p gaming with fairly high settings on most games. I probably wont upgrade for another year or two personally

So by the looks of it I should get it then. The card looks in great condition and the guy has the box and all the parts with it.
