I'm wondering if a AMD A8-7600 (Igpu) would be an upgrade an i3 5020u (Igpu) because I want to have a new build because my laptop's Igpu is a bottle neck so would I notice any improvements of performance?

Im mostly on discord now and you can find me on my profile

My Build: Xeon 2630L V, RX 560 2gb, 8gb ddr4 1866, EVGA 450BV

My Laptop #1: i3-5020U, 8gb of DDR3, Intel HD 5500

After about 5 minutes of research I found this:
http://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-HD-5500-Mobile-095-GHz-vs-AMD-Radeon-R7-Graphics/m16570vsm8791

It's slightly better, I don't think they will be too noticeable.

Ok but the first upgrade I'm doing is the gpu because it makes sense to but thanks it's really appreciated

I don't think you can upgrade that though.

Laptops aren't upgradeable in the sense that the CPU and GPU are soldered onto the motherboard.  Also, the iGPU's on both are... well, integrated.  So it's a packaged deal.

As for a comparison between the two CPUs/GPUs, the i3 is a wee bit faster (almost the same GPU wise), but it's also in a much different class.  It consumes far less power making it something you typically see in ultrabooks and tablets.

I know but it's more of an upgradeable path

If you mean an upgrade in performance, the CPU portion is by ~30%.  GPU is about the same.

I took another look, you actually won't see much of a benefit even in CPU.  Better single threaded but worse multithreaded.

You can't put a new GPU on a laptop, unless you're looking at getting one of those docks.  Even then it's not really worth it, I would save for something better.
