Thought on my light streaming/ gaming build

Hmm. The 850 EVO you chose doesn't have MLC cells btw.

Also a single fan radiator AIO is never worth buying, unless you're doing a very small form factor build. Either go 240/280 or get a nice air cooler.

Otherwise the build is pretty solid.

New Build (The Compromise): CPU - i7 9700K @ 5.1Ghz Mobo - ASRock Z390 Taichi | RAM - 16GB G.SKILL TridentZ RGB 3200CL14 @ 3466 14-14-14-30 1T | GPU - ASUS Strix GTX 1080 TI | Cooler - Corsair h100i Pro | SSDs - 500 GB 960 EVO + 500 GB 850 EVO + 1TB MX300 | Case - Coolermaster H500 | PSUEVGA 850 P2 | Monitor - LG 32GK850G-B 144hz 1440p | OSWindows 10 Pro.

Peripherals - Corsair K70 Lux RGB | Corsair Scimitar RGB | Audio-technica ATH M50X + Antlion Modmic 5 |

CPU/GPU history: Athlon 6000+/HD4850 > i7 2600k/GTX 580, R9 390, R9 Fury > i7 7700K/R9 Fury, 1080TI > Ryzen 1700/1080TI > i7 9700K/1080TI.

Other tech: Surface Pro 4 (i5/128GB), Lenovo Ideapad Y510P w/ Kali, OnePlus 6T (8G/128G), PS4 Slim.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/XzNBpb Im willing to change around the parts a little bit. Mainly the monitor. But am open to suggestions. If its about the ssd yes i do know about the hynix drive, I want the slight performance boost of MLC over TLC.

There is no noticeable difference between mlc and tlc. Only major difference is longevity even then it will be years before you can wear it out with normal usage

I'm biased toward the 850 EVO as I think it's a superior drive to anything else out there, in terms of 2.5" SATA SSDs. The 850 EVO uses a very good 3D V-NAND TLC architecture which has probably 97% of the performance and durability of MLC while being nearly as cheap as actual TLC.

You will not notice the difference in either case honestly.

I second the h115i, or go with the Fractal Design S24 or NZXT Kraken X52/62 series of coolers.

i dont care about rgb so i went with the 155i. I am also a backer that the 850 is the superior drive, but i do want to try the sk hynix to see what the fuss is about (even tho its a $20 difference)
