Low fps while playing league of legends

4yellowflash

Why I have a very low fps while playing league of legends at very high settings 1080p, my video card is xfx rx 480 8gb reference and my cpu is i5-6400, and it has a 8gb ram? The fps is only ranging from 70 to 150. It suppose to have a higher fps range. The fps settings in lol is uncapped. But when i am playing bf1 or watchdogs 2 at ultra settings, the fps range is just ok.

  • You need to let us know cpu and gpu usage. HW monitor is good for this. If your gpu is doing work then you probably don't have a problem.
  • Check settings again if you have vsync or any other similar setting that stops your fps. Maybe try unchecking everything that you can and see if that makes a difference. Last time I checked you could have vsync off and still have specific fps caps (30 to 300+ for example).
  • Check your ram speed to make sure it is running like it's supposed to. You can do through task manager or cpu-z.
