When you think of Asus whats the first thing that comes to your mind?

 

I'm thinking about getting a GPU from them in the future. 

 

Thos ROG cards make me hot.

Sadly I think of laptops, when I first see there name. But then I realize motherboards, gpu's.. routers...

They look good, Overclock well. I've had customers who use Asus GPUs and love them. I'm also thinking of getting a GPU from Asus.

i think of my first motherboard

i think of my 2 rx 480's mining in the background,

i think of the rog hero i got for 120 bucks (that cost me 60 bucks because i sold my other board)

and my first graphics card i bought with my own money: a gtx 660 Oc

i heard a car injury firm on my radio say as their slogan "we are the best because we focus on one thing car accidents" 

 

should i view asus as a jump on the bandwagon gpu maker

their recent designs have really good quality components, although the dual line has cheaper components its still good ones

A reputable, proven company that makes an all around great product whether it be a component or a full fledged system. I've heard nothing but great things about ASUS and you can't seem to go wrong with anything they manufacture.

if its not one of the cheap ones, then yes they are good, but so are most motherboards. one of the fisrt things to go wrong are capacitors so look for boards with good capacitors if you want to keep the board for a very long time

Bad Quality control

 

My Asus RoG Ranger Z97 came with a bad mei chip (couldn't use Asus windows fan software)

 

Asus RoG Swift PG278Q 1440P Gsync monitor came with a flickering screen. Had to RMA

 

2 items bought, 2 bad items

thats really bad luck, i had 7 asus products the biggest problem i had was ai suite not being able to Oc the cpu in a b85 board (which might be the chipset problem i don't know)

So the Rog line had issues were they resolved in timely fashion or were you stuck in limbo
