Lucky. Get the zotac gtx 1080. You wont need to upgrade for a while https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Zotac/GeForce_GTX_1080_Amp_Extreme/13.html

Hi,

What do you guys think i should upgrade first.

My pc setup is:

Cpu: i5 4690k

Motherboard: MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition

RAM: 8 GB Kingston hyperx DDR3

GPU: 960 2GB

I was thinking about upgrading GPU first to 1070 because i have oportunity to have 1440p Monitor and would like to use it.

If you have any advices it would be good.

U dont need to upgrade anything else so go for it ! i5 is more than capable for what u need.

If u will have 2 monitors then try to sell the 960 and buy another 8GB of RAM.

Purely gaming or more?

For gaming that GPU would be a good upgrade (and that monitor too, duh :P ), but something like video or photo editing, more RAM might be interesting.

I think that 1080 would actually be enough the monitor i will have is 75Hz anyways

What resolution

For your next monitor I recommend a 1440p 120htz if you play more competitive and fps or a 4k 60 if you play more RPGs like witcher 3 and skyrim. A 1080 can handle those monitors
