Hey guys. I wanna build a gaming pc with a 7600K  ( or a ryzen 1600 ) and a gtx 1070. What psu should I pick for that? Always 80plus gold efficiency and I would prefer to belong in tier 1 psu. Also i don't want to be overkill so 750-850 watt are certainly out of the equation. Cm calculator said that my system would need around 379 watts so I should pick one 450 watts psu. And I can't make my mind around it. Any answers would be appreciated

EVGA G2/G3 550W/650W the best value (depends on where you live)
Or Bitfenix Whisper M
Or Corsair RMx
Or any other PSU from tier 1:

Tier 2 also fine, why must it be tier 1?

The EVGA SuperNOVA 550 G3 is usually a good, fairly inexpensive choice.

And yeah, get the R5 1600 over the i5-7600K.

'Fanboyism is stupid' - someone on this forum.

Be nice to each other boys and girls. And don't cheap out on a power supply.

For an R5 1600 and GTX 1070 a Corsair RMx/RMi, EVGA G2/GQ/G3, Seasonic G-series, or Bitfenix Whisper should do fine. I'd personally recommend 550W or greater but 450W would suffice with overclocking.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
