XMP Not Working for my RAM

Go to solution Solved by Morgan MLGman,

It's "Double Data Rate" (DDR) so it's 1500x2 = 3000MHz. The RAM is working just fine.

I recently built a PC and easily overclocked my i7 6700k to 4.5ghz. I also turned on XMP and selected the 3000mhz option for my 2x8 GB kit of Corsair Vengeance LPX  3000mhz RAM. I am using the ASUS Z170-A motherboard as well. It is definitely selected to be 3000mhz but definitely doesn't run at those speeds when I am in Windows 10.

Here is a screenshot of me stress testing CPU, FPU, Cache and Memory in AIDA 64, and you can see in the CPUID that it is running at Screenshot of CPUID

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
