What phone should i buy?

Yes, it is impossible, so why were you saying that a reason for not having the iPhone's design changed in 3 years is because of his glass slab vision?

to fit the earpiece/speaker, front cameras, Iris scanner, all the other scanners, and the dual cameras.

The Galaxy S8 has 1 camera located beneath all of the other sensors towards the middle 1/4th of the body.

Yeah, samsung made it happen. Maybe apple should take notes...

lol no they didn't.

The camera is not in the same position on the S8 as it is on the iPhone.

For Samsung to have "made it happen" The designs would have to be the same and Samsung would be able to fit everything in the top chin while keeping the cameras horizontal.

Samsung just did it differently.

No, but can't they come up with a better solution than flipping rear cameras 90 degrees? And having the rear cameras rotated has one of the cameras still taking up space in the top of the phone.

It was already doing that.......

rotating the cameras saves horizontal space at the expense of vertical space which Apple is compensating for by stacking the logic board......

imho I think they're just rotating the rear cameras just to have a design change on the back, because they couldn't think of anything else to change. Just my opinion

Also, I think you said earlier... this jonathan guy or whatever wants design/looks over usability, which his vision is to have a glass slab phone.

Are you a hardware engineer? Because how do you know that they can't fit the 2 rear cameras in a better spot and still have space for iris scanner. Also to answer your question I'm not

- Samsung is aweful at updates, only supporting three versions or so after launch

- LG G6 would be a great phone if the S8 didn't exist

Shame those two things are pretty accurate. I really like the G6 but like actually seeing and holding an S8/S8+ in person is so nice. I haven't been able to see a G6 yet. But man that S8+ is tempting though a lot more expensive, because I didn't really want to finance my phone but with the S8/S8+ that's really my only option...

Anyways, I think maybe if you can just deal with Samsung's not too great software update cycle then the S8/S8+ would be great.

HTC seems to not be too great this year... So yeah, go ahead get that S8.

Wait, so are people defending Apple or attacking it? lol

Guys, why does it matter? Not saying I would ever really want an iPhone especially after the iPhone 7 but I think it's pretty low.

Yes I like Android (it did use to suck and that was when I was an iSheep, I've reformed and have seen corporate servitude or blindly supporting a company is stupid)

Considering the post is about what phone I should buy having a debate like this over what's the best phone seems completely reasonable.

If you go for the Samsung Galaxy S8, beware the US unlocked version. My US unlocked S7 JUST got its first major update since it was released a year ago. It just got Android 7.0 a few days ago. MONTHS after the carrier and international versions got the update. And I am willing to bet this is the last major update the phone will get. My HTC One M7 only got one major update while I used it.

Don't really have to hope.

My contract is up in a year and I'll be replacing my 6s Plus with the 8 regardless of what the phone actually has. Unless there is no camera, haptic feedback on the on screen home button, or TouchID.

it's an i phone its going to be shit any way
