How so? Seems like everything he designs has been pretty flat ever since steve left apple. (Aka: Back when i gave apple credit)

He does not care about anything else. 

How do you know that? And why doesn't he care about anything else, like durability, and how slippery it will be in the hands. Sure the S8 and G6 are slippery phones but at least they have metal sides to hold on to. Full glass phone would be very slippery. Also, every single iPhone 8 design rumor points towards vertical back cameras. How is that good design? I think everyone  ( >90%) can agree that vertical back cameras will be ugly.

There is not a company that has made a smartphone that is a single slab of glass.
