Lenovo Ideapad Y700

Hey guys
i just got the lenovo y700 gaming laptop and it gets kinda hot during games .... i know this is quite normal for a gaming laptop but i have been searching online and found some thing i could do to lower the temps

the first one is undervolting the cpu

the second is removing the dust filter that is covering the bottom air intake of the laptop
the third is applying a 3rd party cpu cooler
i just wanted to know if any one has done this already and whether it is worth it to do so .. it would be great if you tried them on this laptop
i have the 80nv model
thanks in advance for your help

First of all, why buy the outdated Y700 when there are lots of laptops with newer and more powerful hardware?

To answer your question, you can try:

1. Undervolting CPU

2. Reapply thermal paste for CPU and GPU

There's no way to install aftermarket cooler in laptops.

Its new so I'm assuming there's no dust. Also you shouldnt take out the dust filters at the bottom.
