Recommended Phone Mount

Just wondering if you guys recommend a phone mount for a car. Specifically not a vent mount type. (I hate those. ) Not cup holder mounts as well. I'm thinking something with a suction cup design so that it would have its own space and it seems like it would be the best shot. It just seems most appropriate, but if not, feel free to correct me.

Just superglue it to the dashboard. The other mounts seem to slip around or drop the phone every now and then.

I'm thinking that maybe I should go for a "slot" design as well. In addition, screw mechanism/mechanisms to hold it in place.

People using their phone in the car for me are the bane of my existence. I cycle a lot and you'd be surprised how many times I've almost had an accident because the driver was on their phone.

Get a tripod mount and get a tripod screw then glue the screw onto the dash board

Yeah it is horrible. I had a guy one time stop suddenly right before me just to take a fricken phone call! Sure, I get it that it was a quiet road but all the same, JUST LEAVE YOUR PHONE ALONE WHEN YOU'RE IN THE CAR!! 

 

As you can tell I feel very strongly about this matter, so... when people ask for stuff like this I just feel that they should be informed from someone that suffers the consequences of what they ask for haha

I can recommend some of the windshield magnetic mounts from Target. I believe the brand is Scosche.

Yes! I've heard some people even use Snapchat or Facebook while driving! I use my phone very reluctantly for music, but try and use Siri whenever I can, and then the only other thing I use it for is Maps. I don't like taking phone calls as well, and never answer texts. No use texting someone if you die trying.

Yeah, as I am only 16 I don't drive or even own a motorbike yet but I don't ride listening to music and I only ever answer texts if it is clearly urgent, most of the time I come to a halt at the roadside unless its a country lane and I can one hand or no-hands. Otherwise, if it's random text messages or conversations they just go in my 'on hold list' until I get home haha

Yup. 'specially since my car has a pretty good aftermarket sound system. Though I need a subwoofer (or maybe I don't...), but there's no room for one once I fold the seats up (I've got a Mountaineer). I mainly need one since my speakers start distorting the bass when I turn it up loud, and I love to have my windows down.

Should I go with windshield or dashboard mount? I feel like dashboard would be a better idea.
