EVGA GTX 1070 SUPERCLOCKED watering cooling help

This thread isn't really for me but it is to help out a friend. He says his gpu gets to the 100's (celcious). He want to water cool his system. The main problem for him is finding a waterblock for his gpu. Can someone put a link or name to a waterblock that is compatible for his gpu.

hmm did he consider an RMA? I have a 1070 SC and the highest temps i can see is 73c, and this is with an automatic fan curve.

100 isn't normal. Try a re-paste first as a water loop is pretty hard to do and expensive

Yea. A few people have suggested repasting. Any guide on how to repast?

you have to remove the backplate and shroud. it's relatively easy if you're delicate.
