"Test run was cancelled by user" problem? 3dmark firestrike and timespy

For some reason firestrike just stops working and states that "test run was cancelled by user". according to 3dmark, this just means "I pressed escape" even though i didnt..? BTW i overclocked the card an I have no crashing issues with GTA V or unigine valley, in gta V in high population and graphically intensive areas I can easily go to 9ghz and 2126mhz easily but both firestrike and timespy always has constant issues with my clocks. Is this a driver issue?

 

BTW for some reason the benchmark lasts longer until it crashes when my OSD is eneabled in precision x oc... im so confused

It could really be due to your overclocking. Try to run the benchmarks on stock settings then clock higher in smaller steps until the same behavior appears.

Whenever it quits it's like it's abrupt tho, like the benchmark is running perfectly with no jitters or flickers... Could it be some sort of background process instead of oc issues? 

 

Btw I narrowed it down to just firestrike, because time so actually says there is an error when I oc too high

I had the same problem with my overclocked GTX 1060. I had to lower overclock to pass fire strike and time spy.

I had the same problem.Found I had to close EVGA Precision XOC every time before running Fire Strike Ultra. Then reload to change the offsets and close Precision XOC again to run the benchmark. Pain in the.........
