I just recently got a new monitor.. and I'm loving it.. same for the gpu.. It is more than enough to play games Ultra@1080p

Lol, I so don't care about updates or patches. Windows will always be vulnerable for noob users no matter how many security patches are released.

 

Btw the reason I don't have Windows 10 is because you are forced to update. And on Windows 7 I never update.

Well at least apply the patch for Wannacry. 

 

Windows is insecure for everyone. And not updating Windows kind of puts you on par with those "noob users".

That's why computer virus are so dangerous. There are always some [profanity] [swearing] [more_profanity] out there who don't take appropriate measures for childish reasons, like "they ruined someone's day so I'll don't give a [profanity_again] about them"

I wouldn't upgrade anything at the moment. Either upgrade your monitor/keyboard and stuff or start saving now. You won't notice any gains by upgrading your PSU. If you planned on adding a second GPU and need more power than sure but no reason to do so otherwise. 

 

Start saving or invest in something else.
