It'd be nice but in Canada this memory set costs $239

My bad, didn't realize you were in Canada. In that case you should look at this kit, since it's on the Taichi's memory qvl list, so they should be guaranteed to work at 2933, plus you can buy them through Amazon prime.

So basically I'm a complete noob when it comes to choosing memory. Hence I don't know which one is more worth it. I received yesterday my ryzen 7 1700 cpu and my asroc x370 Taichi mobo. Now I'm shopping for ram and I'm not sure which one to choose since even though I read quite a bit about ram and all that, I always forget what everything means.

I was hoping on getting white ram but the price of the last one seems very compelling and since it's with amazon prime, I'll get it tomorrow. So which one do you think I should get? Thanks!

Considering the price range you're looking at you might want to go with b die ram.

The last one's prices are very low because it's a lower speed ram

The DDR4-XXXX number is the speed of the ram. The faster the better. Intel computers dont see very much of a difference past 2400 speed RAM in most applications, but Ryzen CPU's have been proven to be heavily affected by clock speeds, most by now being able to fully Utilize 3200 speed, or at least 3000/2933 RAM.

Personally I would save the $20 and go with the 3000mhz kit. Its the middle price between the three, but offers 25% more speed over 2400 (versus a 6% difference for spending another $20 and getting 3200)

Buy low speed ram and overclock it and adjust your timings.  Suggestion is that16gb of ram really isn't need.  12gb would be better so buy a same speed 8gb stick and a 4gb stick.
