I don't know what gpu I should choose out of the RX 560, RX 550, RX 460, R9 270X, Radeon HD 7850, or Radeon R7 250.

I plan to do medium gaming at Medium/High and MAYBE VR.

pentium g4560 has ht, beats fx in some case and offers upgrade path. fx 8350 has no better cpu (9000 series is bad as they run hot) so upgrading will nerd new mobo ram

Haven't you even got a PC yet?

If so I would really stay away from the absolutely awful CPU'S.

Go with a lower end r5 processor from amd. Don't get the fx processor as they aren't worth the money you will spend on one. An r5 1400 would be what I would get if you are on a tight budget.

Its from hardware unboxed's video also you cannot expect a high end vr experience on an AMD gpu currently unless of course you get a Rx 580 or 480

Stay away from the old AMD FX CPUs then. Get something newer like a Ryzen 5 or Intel 6th or 7th gen. Finding an older used i7 or something is also an option. I saw that your budget is $380 USD in that other thread, you can't get very much for that at all. The best GPU for your budget is probably the RX560. Push it to an RX570 if you can.

Here are some options:

1. Get a Pentium G4560 with something like an RX 560.

2. Wait for Ryzen 3. It'll be out soon within the next few months. Should be perfect for your needs and budget.

3. Find a good deal on a used Intel i5/i7 and throw in a your own GPU. Probably a RX560 or something used.

4 Buy a pre-built with an i5/i7 and toss in your own GPU.
