i need 500 watts and i look at reviews and some people say buy Corsair but hen people say in make loud noises after a few months. but then some people say buy Evga but then they say int makes loud noises after a few months. 

I need one the can last at least a year. please help

By noise if your talking about coil whine that is really just the luck of the draw, both are good brands as long as you get a decent quality unit. What are your specs we can determine the requirements more accurately for the system.

In the tom share it is not and well i use the toms one. Tomshares is tier 1 and 2 are good. tier 3 is ok and tier 4 is like the evga 500B and tier 5 is the fuck no category.

If you only need 500W and have a set budget there's no point spending extra. I have an EVGA 500W in tier 3 as far as I can figure out. I have had it for over 18 months and there is no discernable coil whine and it works perfectly well.

The EVGA 500B is clearly in tier 3 on that list

I have a AX760 and AX860 here, both have been in use for well over 1.5 years and have not had any noise issues. They have been in 24/7 workloads as well, currently AX760 doing that.
