I heard there is some stability issues

it still has the same issue x99 did at launch but its much better than it was a few months ago. if you can pick it get a 1600 its equivalent to a 6800k/5820k or a 1700 which is similar to a 5960x/6900k, editing will take a lot of power, in higher resolution it won't matter much. if you stream in the future having high core count CPUs are better, a 6700k will struggle in streaming.

Besides getting Ryzen you should also change the ssd out, the SSD Plus isn't very good.

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

The 6700k is good for gaming but not the greatest value for content creation. The 1700 and 1600 are much better values and will give basically the same performance in games when paired with a gtx 1070 when compared to the 6700k

As I said before I need a computer soon for old pc just broke
