Hi !

I am selling my parents old athlon pc. I replaced some hardware and I want to install Windows but like OEM's but it isnt activated.

I want to pre install drivers and utilities for MB, GPU and some other stuff but I don't want to create permanent acc like in normal Windows install.
I wanna install just like OEM so when you boot it up to just ask to make a new acc and customer is ready to use it.

Any idea how to do it ?

Use windows and install it, and either use a cheap OEM code or just don't activate it (leave that up to the buyer). You can get OEM copies from Kinguin for like $20

Yeah thats the point I am not buying Windows. I am just installing without activation code but comes packed with drivers that are required to work

well, you can always just burn them to a disk like the OEMs lol, and they too can have the joy of throwing away a disk. On a more serious note, just ask their first name for whoever is buying it and change the local account name to that when they come and pick it up or before you post.

Yours faithfully

Microsoft seems to be quite relaxed on enforcing users to activate windows 10. Even if you dont activate it, all it does is show a watermark at all times and not let you change the wallpaper easily.
