Odd overclock issue

Just curious guys I'm just learning how to overclock, started with MSI Command Center moved on to Ryzen Master and now with some confidence I am OC'ing in the BIOS. I have found a sweet spot that was worthy of saving but my question is I don't turn my rig off I put it to sleep so its been on for a week or so I just got on and did a benchmark it was horribly slow did this 3 times so I logged off and restarted and its back to a good OC is this something normal to occur on occasion? Or is it just a glitch and needs a tweek, I've had this OC setup for about a week now and its been rock stable and getting 1726ish on Cinebench R15 the board is an MSI Pro Carbon. Oh and can you guys see my signature with my setup listed I entered it in the profile but I don't see it in my post?

I've heard many stories of computers doing weird things after being woken up from sleep mode. It seems like an imperfect technology that to me honest seems not all that useful. Computers boot so quickly nowadays that it's useless if you just want to reach the desktop faster and if you're just using it to save state whatever you were working on I wouldn't recommend it anyways because you risk losing the data if something goes wrong while in sleep.

 

So I never use it but times where I've tested it has yielded strange results. I've seen BIOS updates for some motherboard that are specially for correcting errors when going in or out of sleep state. It's possible since Ryzen is still a baby that future BIOS updates will be released for your board that might correct the issue you're having.

 

Also no, I don't see any signature/tag at all.

Yes, have also seen this bug... even worse is when you put it to sleep in windows, come back to wake the PC and it's completely off, so don't bother sleeping in windows now, it's mostly fine in linux though, have seen a few bugs, but mostly it's fine in linux from what I ahve seen and experienced myself. That's a pretty nice cinebench score BTW, you must have 4Ghz or more for that I'm guessing unless you have pretty fast ram maybe?

Thanks I'm a bit shock at it myself as I've seen some overclocks at well over my settings I've stressed it out with aida64 and for shits and giggles I opened about 25 Youtube videos going all at once didn't even blink thing runs at a frosty 27-36C every BIOS update with the exception of the last allowed me to crank up the ram to where it is now still can't get 3200 well I did for a mere 5 seconds before it shit the bed so I rolled it back.

we had our NUC doing that, turned out to be something with the SSD, it works perfectly but just sleepmode meant never wake up mode to it.

When mine wakes up the mobo code changes from 24 to 40 and programs just turn to full retard
