hey guys I bought this UPS recently and I need to know if its a good choice.

PROLINK UPS PRO1200SFCU  >>????

From a specs standpoint it's mediocre, not too sure about the brand itself though. One thing I would have liked to see is for it to be stepped simulated as it's only a simulated sinewave, may cause some losses and extra noise for the PSU to correct for if it doesn't mind the simulated sinewave.

Very much so the same basics, with the simulated sinewave which is not the best but as long as the PSU is compatible it should be ok, the very least I usually recommend is stepped approxiamted.

It would be a noticeable problem where some PSU are sensitive and may reject the power output on battery backup and shut itself down thinking it's receiving bad power. It's rare but not unheard of, the most you should see is some electrical noise where it's trying to correct for the simualted sinewave.

just like you said I've been hearing some noises and they were loud like thump sounds. are those sounds bad for my rig? should I replace the UPS?

Thumping, shouldn't occur other than some clicking or when the unit switches over to battery backup or the AVR is activated. At most some electrical noise or buzzing.

Could you record what it sounds like or describe what it's doing when making that noise?
