AT M50X Comfort Advice

coldice

I just got some AT M50X's and the ear padding is good. My problem is that the headband starts hurting after 10-15 minutes. Do you have any suggestions for how to make the headband more comfortable?

give Brainwavz earpads a try. Either the hybrid or velour. the difference is huge, although the bass will suffer a little. There's also a stretch mod (or something) over at Head-fi that make it less clamp.

The headband may not fit the shape of your head. So you may want to stretch it one way or another to best suit your head. Or just wear them for a long time to break them in (kinda like new boots).
