It's a decent phone. I have the 5x, and the SOCs are similar, except the 6x's BIG cores are 4 2.1Ghz A53 cores, rather than the 4 1.5Ghz A53 cores of the 5x. It also has a better GPU.

If it's $250, it's a good deal.

- Android 7.0 (the Huawei skin is pretty light with only a little bit of bloatwear, none of it intrusive.) Nice camera.

- Only has 802.11b/g/n WiFi, no A/C WiFi. It supports most (if not all) of the common GSM bands in the USA (all of the AT&T ones are covered, I have that, and I have coverage almost everywhere.)

- Dual camera thing is nice. 8MP front camera is nice.

- If it shares fingerprint scanners with the Honor 8, then it's awesome. If it shares scanners with the 5x, then it's less awesome, but still good.

- Good screen

- Dual SIM if you need it, if not, SIM slot 2 is a Micro SD card reader, something I love on phones.

- 3GB RAM on the 32GB model, 4GB RAM on the 64GB model.

- Big battery. The battery on mine is smaller, but already lasts me all day. If I didn't watch videos at night on it, I could maybe use it for two whole days.

@dizmo I'd guess USD, since that's what it sells for here new.

I used to be quite active here.

They are very different phones. The 6x is much bigger, has better cameras, has better battery life, ect.. But the 5s is smaller. If you don't like big phones, you're out of luck with the 6x.

I'm totally fine with larger phones.

Then you'd probably like the 6x. :)

Also, unless you can find a 5s with lots of storage, the 6x will have much more storage. Starts at 32GB, and you can add tons of storage (I added a 64GB card to my 5x. Holds so much music.)

I used to be quite active here.
