Depends on what you are going to do with them.

 

Gaming: Ultra wide all the way

content creation: ultra wide by a small margin

productivity: dual monitor

streaming: dual monitor

 

and I would pick an IPS over TN any day unless you play competitively on a very high level aka getting paid to do so

and keep ur old monitor to have browser, monitoring tools or the like on while you have your media or game open on the ultra wide ;)

Mostly agree with noobcase with the small detail, ultrawide for gaming that support it. I'd prefer dual for 16:9 games so you can do stuff on the other screen more easily.
