build for gaming cyber cafe

Go to solution Solved by Snooli,

G4560 is awesome, stick with it.

RX 460 is also a great card, it is actually faster than the 1050, slower than the 1050 ti. However, if you can get a great deal on either of those Nvidia cards, go for it.

Use Box cooler. Comes with every G4560, is enough to cool it, and wont be noticeably loud in a PC cafe.

Mouse: the Rapoo v300 has a very positive review from RocketJumpNinja (propably the best mouse reviewer out there). You might however be able to score a bulk deal on more mainstream mice, perhaps for some posters around your cafe.

Keyboard: I have one on my watchlist - Ajazz AK33. Fully mechanical, "red" or "blue" switches (I think they are selling them as black and blue), backlit, comes in white/blue, black/white or black/red colors.

Headset: I am afraid I can't really help you with this one. I wouldn't be willing to step lower than the HyperX cloud core, those are however still a bit pricey.

Monitor: Don't worry too much about Freesync, it's not really THAT big of a deal. Make sure to look at the panel in person before buying it, you can easily get ripped off by "fast" TN panels that look like brown moist mess.

Hi. I live in Mongolia and dota and csgo is ourmain game.Im opening new gaming cyber cafe in few months so i need some recommendations for builds. I think im decent in computer knowledge but not all. Like Nas or server for all the pc. This is my build as now but if guys see bad picks let me know.

1. CPU- intel g4560  its cool and power efficient. is it good enough for 1 game running and few browser like facebook and youtube most people always on that when there gaming.

2.GPU- rx 460 or gtx 1050. i know that 1050 is the better one by 5%-15% fps, better temps and power usage. But im thinking of getting cheap 1080 ips freesync monitor with it. Wish nvidea used freesync.

3. CPU cooler - i dont know which one to choose.recomend cheap and good.

4. keyboard, mouse, headset - im going for cheap mechanical keyboard from chinese.

5. eveyting else - im ok with the others.Thank you for reading:)

10/10 excellent choice for basic games like this.

Use stock fan cooler, only difference will be noise.

Try and get knockoff browns or reds, they are by far the widely popular for gaming.  Maybe get half and half for your customers personal choice.

On mice you may want to get some more expensive (and durable) models as if they are being used all day they'll die fast if they are cheapo mice.

Go for it with the 460 and freesync, if you can manage it up to a 470 for better game-play and options for customers

Want to custom loop?  Ask me more if you are curious

The g4560 is an i3 without AVX (i.e. it's an i3 for a gaming). Also, the R5 1400 is priced like an i5-7500 ($170~), not like an i3 ($100~).

Why would you compare it to a 7350K? They can get a bit hot, pricey when paired with a Zboard and still wont match it same-priced i5-6400. Besides, 7350k + Z board + cooler is about the same price as an R5 1600 + B350 board (included cooler is enough to bring it to 4Ghz)

for 1 pc without accessories and monitor cost was about 370 $ if i choose i3 the cost will rise about 40$ make it 410$. i will have about 100 pc even small upgrade will have big impact. i think monitor should take 3/1 of my budget. i had i7 6700k with 1070 with 720p tn monitor xaxa im such retard when you follow these youtube building beast pc you forget that the monitor is most important thing in your pc i had 720p monitor for 3 months with 1070 xax. if i choose 1050 is there any good ips 1080p cheap monitors.

Anything IPS is great, VA usualy suffices and has better latencies than IPS. The Philips 276E6 however, is an awesome colorful monitor.

These are still just stereotypes. If you are to buy a full cafe of monitors, look at it in person before buying it. It's the only thing people are going to see of the PC anyway.

wow, that is insanely impressive for a new internet cafe. I did not know that internet cafes are so high in demand in Mongolia.

I live in western Europe and never seen an internet cafe with more than ~20 pcs.

Personally I would go for at least a true 4 core, such as a cheap i5 or one of AMDs Ryzen units. Dual cores have been known to bottle neck a lot of recent games, although they will play dota/CS fine.

GPU, 1050 and 460 are both great options, personally I prefer nvidias software suite.

For cooling you can't go wrong with the hyper 212 Evo.although if you do not intend to overclock the included cooler is more than sufficient

You should put the details of your place up when you open, I'm hoping to get to Ulaanbaatar sometime next year :D

PC:

Monolith(Laptop): CPU: i7 5700HQ GPU: GTX 980M 8GB RAM: 2x8GB 1600MHz Storage: 2x128GB Samsung 850 EVO(Raid 0) + 1TB HGST 7200RPM Model: Gigabyte P35XV4 Mouse: Razer Orochi Headset: Turtle Beach Stealth 450

IoT:

Router: Netgear D7000 Nighthawk

NAS: Synology DS218j, 2x 4TB Seagate Ironwolf

Media Accelerator: Nvidia Shield via Plex

Phone: Sony Xperia X Compact

An i3 won't bottleneck a 1050/460, and the money spent upgrading to an R5 1400 would be better spent on upgrading the gpu to a 470.

The hyper 212 is actually a pretty poor cooler compared to some of its competition -- like a Cryorig C7.
